内容摘要：Anomalous diffusion phenomenonhas been observed in many natural systems, from the signalling of biologicalcells, to the foraging behaviour of animals, to the travel times ofcontaminants in groundwater. I will first discuss the connections betweenanomalous diffusions and differential equations of fractional order, and thenpresent some recent results in the study of heat kernels for non-localoperators of fractional order.
