内容摘要：We consider a spatially one-dimensional haptotaxis system involving degenerate diffusion and cross-diffusion rates, as arising in the modeling of cancer invasion processes in contexts of so-called myopic diffusion mechanisms. We briefly discuss issues of existence theory and thereafter focus on qualitative behavior of solutions. In particular, we identify circumstances under which the behavior is essentially diffusion-dominated in the sense that solutions approach a spatially heterogeneous, possibly singular equilibrium the shape of which is determined by the diffusion rate only.
