主讲人简介：马文秀教授毕业于中国科技大学，1990年获中科院数学博士学位。现任美国南佛罗里达大学终身教授、亚洲教职员工联合会主席，南佛罗里达 坦帕湾地区华人协会副会长，也是上海启明星学者、德国洪堡学者、中国国家外国专家局特聘教授、及《非线性科学百科全书》可积系统部分唯一华裔特邀撰稿人。 其研究领域覆盖应用数学、数学物理、计算机符号计算等，特别在孤立子理论与可积系统方面有很深的学术造诣。
内容摘 要：We will talk about generalized bilinear techniques and their applications to resonant soliton and lump solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations. The linear superposition principle and positive multi- variate polynomials are the key to the study of resonant solitons and lumps. Illustrative examples will be shown, together with computational algorithms implemented in Maple.
