2011 International Forum on Biomedical Textile Materials

Papers are being invited for the 2011 International Forum on Biomedical Textile Materials
to be held at Donghua University at Songjiang University City, Shanghai, China.
The guiding theme of the forum will be:
“Translation of Technologies from Laboratory to Clinic”.
Areas to be highlighted include:
A. New materials for medical textiles
B. Natural biopolymers for biomedical applications
C. Surface modification and biocompatibility
D. Fiber based structures and properties
E. Medical textiles for protection
F. Design and fabrication of biotextiles
G. Biological response to biotextile implants
H. Healthcare products
Papers on other topics in related subject areas will also be considered.
Submission of Abstracts/Paper
A one page abstract with title, names of authors and keywords should be submitted no later
than March 15, 2011.
The full paper should be submitted no later than April 15, 2011. Submissions received after
this date will not be given primary consideration for inclusion in the Proceedings.
Full papers will be sel ected for inclusion in the Proceedings of 2011 International Forum
on Biomedical Textile Materials, which will be cited by CPCI-S
(Conference Proceedings Citation Index-Science, formerly called ISTP).
Abstracts and full papers should be prepared according to the two attached special formats.

The official language of the Forum is English. Please submit your abstract and full paper and
Paper Information Table electronically by sending them as e-mail attachments in MS Word “doc” format to the conference Organizing Committee at:
