Introduction
to International Cooperation Office more
The central task
of the International Cooperation Office is to promote international cooperation
and exchange between Donghua University and overseas institutions in an
all-around way, to give full play to the influence and reputation of professors,
to explore cooperation channels with the colleges as main body and programs as
links, to actively recruit overseas talents and to work hard to create new ways
and models in international cooperation and exchange.
I. Main
Responsibilities:
1. Create a platform in Donghua University to strengthen international
cooperation and exchange;
2. Oversee and manage international cooperation and exchange of Donghua
University;
3. Coordinate foreign affairs of administrative departments and colleges;
4. Provide the latest information and consulting service related to foreign
affairs.
II. Professional
Scope
1. Oversee and manage foreign affairs in accordance with relevant laws,
regulations and policies;
2. Set up plans and regulations of international cooperation and exchange
in accordance with discipline developing plans;
3. Implement cooperation and exchange programs set by intercollegiate
agreements and strengthen the cooperative relations with international
prominent universities, research institutes and enterprises;
4. Oversee and manage all the collaborative education programs, coordinate
related administrative departments and handle procedures of reports and
ratifications;
5. Take charge of reception of visiting guests, especially VIPs, arrange
as a whole school leaders¡¯ foreign affairs activities, and help draft
plans of school leaders¡¯ international trips;
6. Be responsible for all foreign experts in Donghua University, ratify
and implement the employment plans for long-term and short-term experts,
arrange for their visa, residence, extension issues and related activities,
and set up the work of ¡°Three Databases and One Meeting¡± program;
7. Assess and implement international academic conference plans, help
application for ratification and related arrangement, and arrange visa
issue for the foreign guests;
8. Arrange for the personnel¡¯s application for foreign visits on business,
relevant procedures of passport and visa issues, and all management related
to foreign visits;
9. Assess and arrange the application for the honorary titles to overseas
experts and related procedures, and help arrange awarding ceremonies;
10. Strengthen the education of foreign affairs personnel and arrange
regular training; set up communicative channels for foreign affairs information
and provide related consulting service; arrange and coordinate foreign
affairs activities for all the colleges;
11. Gather monthly all the foreign affairs information, and finalize yearly
information files of foreign affairs and related archives;
12. Deal with other daily routine related to international cooperation
and exchange.
